Cleansing
Carbon has the ability to absorb oil and contaminants from deep within the pores. When the laser is passed over the treatment area it targets and destroys the carbon particles, taking any absorbed material with it.
Exfoliating
As the carbon is targeted by the laser, it blasts away dead skin cells, blackheads and effectively exfoliates the skin. The result is softer, more radiant skin.
The heat produced by carbon peels has 2 additional benefits. It reduces the P.A bacteria responsible for acne, reduces pore size giving a more even skin tone.

What is the carbon peel and how does it work?
The Carbon Peel is a two stage process. During the first stage, a carbon lotion is applied to the skin. Then a 1060nm wavelength laser reaches the dermis, creating controlled thermal damage to stimulate the healing process. This causes collagen, elastin and fibroblast production and remodelling to rejuvenate the skin and target fine lines and wrinkles. The heat created also induces remodelling and contraction of the pores, making it an ideal treatment for those with enlarged pores. When targeted at acne, this high energy treatment goes straight to the acne’s membrane and destroys it, reducing acne and its related inflammation. The second part of the treatment comprises the removal of the carbon lotion, with the short pulse Q-Switched laser. This laser breaks up the carbon into fine particles and then absorbs them, by destroying the carbon and removing the dead skin cells, oils and impurities that were bound to it. The skin also receives a deep exfoliation during this second stage, making it 4 times stronger than any other peel on the market, and leaving the skin considerably brighter, and smoother in tone and texture. The entire treatment takes approximately 30 minutes, and the effects are noticeable straight away. You’ll see an instant brightening of your skin, which will also feel smoother and softer than ever before.

Post-treatment, you may notice some slight redness, and experience some tingling, but this will both subside post-treatment. No downtime is required, and you will be able to resume daily activities straight away.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
The number of sessions needed is dependent on the size of the treatment area, and the desired effect. Usually, we recommend a course of 2-6 treatments, to take place every 2-3 weeks for the best in beautiful, long-lasting results.

How Does Laser Carbon Skin Rejuvenation Work ?
The laser treatment is suitable for all ages and can lighten age spots and dark spots, fade freckles, reduce wrinkles and fine lines, shrink pores, and remove blackheads and acne. It can also lift and tighten the skin, improve elasticity, moisturise and give a bright and radiant complexion.
The principle behind the black doll treatment is that carbon powder possesses a strong capacity to absorb dirt deep in the pores. The face (and neck) is first coated with carbon nano-particles. Next the laser is used on the skin. The medical-graded
laser allows the particles to penetrate deep into pores, shattering the epidermal keratinocytes and dirt. The heat from the laser also enables the carbon powder to be absorbed into the skin, stimulating the skin cells. Regeneration occurs by encouraging growth of collagen and elastic fibres.
The Process
After cleansing Carbon Paste is massaged into face, then high intensity pulses of light are delivered from the laser which destroys debris clogged in the pores. This state of the art laser treatment helps refine enlarged pores which reduce oil secretion and helps remove blackheads and whiteheads. The treatment stimulates the face to produce more collagen which helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Aftercare
It is advised that you use a sun protection cream after treatment with a minimum SP30. A course of 6 sessions is recommended for maximum results and discounts are available for courses.
