Thank you for visiting us today for your UltraLift HIFU treatment. At Elegant Beauty Clinic we pride ourselves on 5 star service and aftercare. It is important to follow the below guidelines in order for your results to look fabulous but also last as long as possible.

You can return to your normal activities immediately after your procedure without any post treatment restrictions or requirements. However you should avoid exposing your skin to extreme temperatures of heat or cold and protect your skin with good quality moisturiser and SPF. It is important to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated after your treatment so avoid caffeine and alcohol for 48 hours. We recommend no sun exposure or strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours after treatment to reduce any swelling which might have occurred during your treatment. You can follow your normal make up routine immediately after treatment but avoid using skin products that may cause irritation for 24 hours afterwards Please do not have any other form of treatment or therapy until instructed to do so. Your skin may appear flushed at first but the redness, if any, should disappear within a few hours or days . Some clients may experience swelling, tingling or tenderness to the touch, but these are mild and temporary in nature and last a 2-7. Other less common postprocedural effects, may include temporary bruising, welts or numbness on small areas of skin. If any of these symptoms persist, please contact the clinic immediately.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS?

This really does depend on the individual and the area being treated. Changes happen over a number of weeks, so some patience is required as a natural collagen building process is taking place within your skin. Some clients feel tightness and a smoother appearance over the forthcoming days, results are expected to be seen between 12 to 16 weeks post treatment however it can take up to nine months to see the full effects from a single HIFU treatment.

WHAT TO EXPECT POST-TREATMENT?

• It is normal for the area to be swollen, feel stiff immediately after the procedure

• The area y be flushed and reddened and tingly.

• Temporary dulling of sensation or numbness in the treated area can also occur

• Side-effects are temporary and may also include bruising and tenderness
