Chemical Skin Peels

What is it?

Skin peels, also known as chemical peels, are a concentrated exfoliating treatment that works to remove dead and dull skin cells, resurface the skin’s texture and reveal brighter, healthier and more radiant skin beneath the surface.

What does it do?

The peel formula is made up of a number of highly beneficial acids, antioxidants and vitamins that stimulate collagen production, hydrate the skin, plump, tighten and reduce fine lines. The formula is applied to the skin to start the ‘peeling’ process, and over the course of a few days post-treatment the skin will start to lightly shed, revealing beautiful, smooth skin beneath.

Is there any downtime?

Yes, downtime must be allowed for chemical peels. If you are planning on getting a peel ahead of an event, leave at least 7-10 days for the peel process to complete and to allow best possible results.

How soon will I see results, and how long will they last?

Once the peel process has been completed (this could take anywhere from 5 to 10 days), you will experience a brighter and more radiant complexion. Depending on your skin type, lifestyle and the intensity of your treatment, these results can last for several weeks to months.

How much does it cost?

We offer 2 different chemical peels at Elegant Clinic. The Perfect Peel costs from £250 with £50 per additional booster. ZO 3 Step Peel starts from £350

Skin Boosters (Sunekos, Jalupro)

What is it?

A ‘skin booster’ is not a filler, but an injectable skin treatment used to boost radiance, fight signs of ageing and tackle specific skin issues.

What does it do?

Our skin booster treatments Sunekos, Jalupro and Profhilo use hyaluronic acid formulas to hydrate, plump and firm the skin from within. A skin booster is a great way to boost your skin’s beauty with natural looking results that will make your skin appear more youthful, fresh and glowing. 

Is there any downtime?

For most skin boosters there is minimal downtime due to the injection process, so you may see slight bumps or bruising– however these will subside within 24 hours.

How soon will I see results, and how long will they last?

Results from skin boosters are relatively instant, and can last up to 6 months depending on the booster treatment, your skin condition and lifestyle. For some treatments we would recommend a course of more than one session in order to see optimum results.

How much does it cost?

Prices vary depending on your chosen skin treatment, how many treatments within the course, and whether you want additional ‘boosters’. Sunekos starts at £200, Jalupro from £175 and Profhilo from £300.

Aquagold

What is it?

The ultimate festive beauty prep! A luxurious facial that uses real 24-carat gold micro-needles to deliver a cocktail of richly nourishing ingredients for the skin, which can be customised to suit the needs of your complexion.

What does it do?

The Aquagold ‘Fine Touch’ tool is gently stamped across the treatment area, which allows the formula to be deposited in tiny, microscopic placements. An Aquagold facial can be used to boost hydration and radiance in the skin ahead of an event, or tackle specific skin conditions like scarring, fine lines or enlarged pores. The formula used is tailored for you, making it a great all-round choice for any skin type.

Is there any downtime?

There is minimal downtime involved in an Aquagold facial due to the tiny micro-needles used, and you should be party-ready after 48 hours. However, we recommend taking extra care on the day of treatment by avoiding skincare, makeup and sun exposure.

How soon will I see results, and how long will they last?

The results of an Aquagold facial are visible between 3 and 7 days after treatment, and are at their optimum after 2 weeks. You may see results last for up to 4 months depending on your skin condition and lifestyle.

How much does it cost?

A regular Aquagold treatment starts at £350.

Botox

What is it?

Botox, or anti-wrinkle injections, are a targeted injectable treatment that can be used to reverse the signs of ageing, shape the contours of the face and prevent fine lines from forming.

What does it do?

The treatment is used to temporarily paralyse the muscle in the treatment area, preventing it from moving and creasing the skin. This can be used in many areas across the face including the forehead, crows feet, worry lines and around the eyes. Botox can be used as a preventative measure to slow the ageing process, or to reduce and smooth out existing wrinkles.

Is there any downtime?

Botox is a quick procedure that can take as little as 15-30 minutes to administer, and has minimal downtime. This means that it’s easy to fit anti-wrinkle injections into your daily routine, although we advise avoiding exercise for 48 hours post treatment.

How soon will I see results, and how long will they last?

Post-treatment you should see results within 2 days, however optimum results will appear after roughly 2 weeks. Results can last from 4-6 months depending on the individual patient’s skin type and lifestyle.

How much does it cost?

Botox injections are charged per area, starting at £150.

Dermal Fillers

What is it?

Dermal fillers are an injectable treatment used to sculpt and voluminise targeted areas of the face including the cheeks, lips, jawline, under-eyes and chin.

What does it do?

Formulated with hyaluronic acid, dermal fillers plump and hydrate the skin to add shape. Most commonly this method is used to voluminise the lips, but can also be used to enhance the appearance of cheekbones, sharpen the jaw and make the chin more prominent.

Is there any downtime?

Post-treatment you may experience slight swelling and bruising, which will subside within 1-2 weeks.

How soon will I see results, and how long will they last?

Results are immediate, however best results will be seen once swelling has calmed down.

How much does it cost?

At Elegant we use a few different types of dermal fillers, with Juvéderm starting from £250 and Juvéderm Vycross from £390.
